WE HAVE UPDATED ALL OF OUR MODELS TO INCLUDE EXTENDED ARMS. SO ALL MODELS NOW HAVE THE ABILITY TO SHARPEN COUNTERCLOCKWISE BLADES. EXT MODELS ARE NO LONGER IN PRODUCTION.

After many requests for the ability to sharpen counter-clockwise blades, we have released two new models that can do just that! In addition to all the features of the original models (5002, 5000, and 5005), the models (5002EXT, 5000EXT and 5005EXT) have an extended upper guide arm. This gives you the extra range of motion needed to reach the cutting edge of your counter-clockwise blades (left hand blades) at the the bottom of the jig. Clamp your counter-clockwise rotating blade in the jig the same way you would clamp a regular blade and flip the guide arms away from you. Then grind the perfect edge at the bottom of the jig, just as you would at the top of the jig on a standard blade!
